Lower joint adapter for 29/42 ground joints that provides a dry-running mechanical seal for 10 mm stir shafts and a 1-3/4 in threaded connection. Supplied complete with perfluorinated O-rings and a loosening nut, the adapter resists aggressive chemicals while minimizing contamination and allowing vertical adjustment for different agitator styles.
- Provides a vacuum- and pressure-tight seal for 29/42 lower joints.
- Designed for 10 mm stir shafts and 1-3/4 in threaded connections.
- Includes perfluorinated O-rings and a loosening nut for chemical resistance.
- Dry-running mechanical seal rotates with the shaft to prevent contamination.
- Rated to 5 Torr vacuum and 2-3 psi pressure; seals up to 2000 rpm.

Nylon bushing compresses around shaft using an allen screw. Stainless steel stud attaches directly to the chuck of a stirrer motor.
